Some facts about what satellites is using for

Yeah, satellites are one of the most necessary objects in space, and everything is due to their ability to take pictures of outstanding quality. But the credit goes not to the satellite manufacturers but to the companies that build imagery for satellites. I was surprised to found out that even South Africa manufactures optical payloads for various satellites. https://dragonflyaerospace.com/ is a young South-African payload manufacturer that develops imagery for smallsats and cube sats. I heard they plan to serve both civil and commercial customers. Manufacturing facilities they have easily let them produce several dozens of satellites per year. I believe we'll hear a lot of good news from this company soon.

In 2020, a lot of problems have piled on the world because of ... well, you know what. But despite this, many continued to achieve their goals, and some were very successful.

Yes, I would like to talk about exactly what we are using satellites for now. And the first to come to mind, of course, are satellite communications and television. Also, everyone is well aware of the research goals of many satellites. Albeit in a rather blurry form.

But there are also a couple of other ways.

Some satellites are used to map the ocean, which in turn allows scientists to monitor climate changes and propose remedial measures.

And also I was especially pleased with this article, which says that with the help of satellites we can save the lives of birds)
