Configuring your RoadRunner email in Outlook involves several steps. Here's a general guide to help you set it up:

Step 1: Open Outlook

Launch Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
Step 2: Add an Email Account

Go to the "File" tab in Outlook.

Under the "Info" section, click on "Add Account."

Step 3: Manual Setup

In the Add Account window, select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next."
Step 4: Choose Email Service

Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next."
Step 5: Enter Your User and Server Information

Fill in the following information:

Your Name: Enter your full name.
Email Address: Your full RoadRunner email address.
Account Type: Choose either POP3 or IMAP. It's recommended to use IMAP for better synchronization between Outlook and the email server.
Incoming Mail Server: Enter "pop-server.domain.rr.com" for POP3 or "imap-server.domain.rr.com" for IMAP (replace "domain" with your specific RoadRunner domain, such as "nyc.rr.com" or "sc.rr.com").
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Enter "smtp-server.domain.rr.com" (replace "domain" as before).
User Name: Your full RoadRunner email address.
Password: Your RoadRunner email password.
Step 6: More Settings

Click the "More Settings" button.
Step 7: Outgoing Server Tab

In the "Outgoing Server" tab, check the box that says, "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."
Step 8: Advanced Tab

Click on the "Advanced" tab.

For POP3:

Incoming server (POP3): 110
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS
For IMAP:

Incoming server (IMAP): 143
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS
Step 9: Test Account Settings

Click "OK" to close the Internet Email Settings window.

Back in the Add Account window, click the "Next" button. Outlook will test your email account settings.

If the tests are successful, you'll see a message indicating that the account was successfully configured. Click "Finish."

Step 10: Complete Setup

Back in the main Outlook window, you should now see your RoadRunner email account on the left sidebar. You can start sending and receiving emails.

Greetings,
Peter
